Now you get two more messages at the top of the screen - left-click on "View Signatures"ħ. File appears with "PROTECTED VIEW" message at top - left-click on "Enable Editting"Ħ. Go to "downloads" and open the downloaded fileĥ. In my case this puts downloads the file to my "Downloads" directoryĤ. Select the "Save File" button on the resulting dialog box and left click on "OK"ģ. Mouse over attachment icon and left click on "Download"Ģ. I use as my email and I'm using Word 365. This was the answer that finally allowed me to get this process to work! I think a lot of the confusion may be that different email services have slightly different user interfaces and behaviors. When the document gets back to the creator that person can save the document to their computer and rename the document taking the numbers or whatever off the end. The document must still be saved to the persons computer (Microsoft security feature) somewhere but they must add a number, special character or something to the end of the name when they save it. No signatures are invalid as others sign.įor sending via e-mail. The next person willĭo the same thing and no need to save after they do and so on. No need to save the document its done automatically. The person clicks their name and signs the document. There will be a requested signatures section which contains the names of those individuals who still need to sign the document. Click the icon and a signatures box will open on the right.
Once the first person signs, on the lower left you will see Page: 1 of 1 | Words: 100 | and the red digital signature icon.
